The Belkin CES 2020 booth presented a significant challenge: mounting multiple large 1” PVC 3D logos over SEG fabric graphics at a height of 16 feet. Traditional standoff methods required large holes in the fabric, resulting in:

• Compromised graphic integrity, with visible holes disrupting the fabric’s seamless appearance.

• Labor-intensive installations, requiring multiple skilled workers on-site to align and secure the signage, often using lifts or tall ladders.

• Inefficiencies in time and costs, exacerbated by the repetitive nature of these challenges across events.

The team needed a solution that maintained the pristine quality of SEG graphics, minimized on-site labor, and delivered a polished, professional finish.

The Idea: Why Not Magnets?

For decades, the signage and event industry had joked about using magnets for 3D signage installations. But earlier attempts—such as gluing magnets to the back of SEG fabrics or cutting large holes for magnets to connect—resulted in inconsistent and subpar outcomes.
